Congratulations
on your upcoming wedding! The Pilgrim Sands welcomes you and your
guests, family, and friends to enjoy our facilities.
The Pilgrim Sands’ guidelines for setting aside rooms are
as follows: We shall put aside up to ten (10) rooms for a particular
wedding group. We agree to hold rooms, un-guaranteed, until twelve
(12) weeks prior to your wedding date. When folks call to confirm,
they can request any type of room based on our availability. We
will attempt to keep your group in as close proximity to one another
as availability allows. Most couples are now sending out “Hold
the date” postcards or e-mail with our phone number on them.
Booking early is suggested. Please call us on or just after the
release date to check on the number of confirmed bookings.
Guests should contact us directly on our toll free line, via
web site or email to confirm their reservations, as we require
a deposit on every booking. If more than ten guests call to confirm
before the release date, we shall continue to book rooms as close
together as available. All of ours rooms are non-smoking. We do
require a two-night stay from May 1 until November 1. Check-in
time is 3 p.m. and thereafter.
Receptions are held at numerous sites in our area with various
closing times. If guests gather at the Sands after the reception,
they must be registered guests, only. The lobby is the only suitable
spot to congregate, as conversations there should not disturb
other guests. We request that quiet time is 11 p.m. other than
the lobby area.
If there are items, ranging from simple notes to gift baskets,
which you would like placed in your guests’ rooms, you must
get them to us a few days before the arrival date so that we can
deliver them in a timely fashion.
